![]() ![]() Navy muster rolls at Archives 1 are divided between two record groups, depending on the year. To search these records, researchers need to know the name of the vessel or station where the enlistee served. Pre-1860 muster rolls usually only provide the sailor's name, vessel or station, and service dates. However, not all muster rolls include all of this information. He was also Past President of the Kiwanis Club of Huntington NY.įamily and Friends are invited to call at the Harloff Funeral Home on Friday, March 23rd from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. During that time he served as high school lacrosse official, President of the School Administrators of New York and Board of Directors of Junior Achievement. In 1968 he became principal of Rush Henrietta Sperry High School, a position he held until his retirement in 1987. He later rose to the position of Vice Principal of Huntington High School. He taught and coached lacrosse at Huntington High School, leading his team to a 1959 Conference Championship. He was also a Navy Veteran who served during the invasion of Okinawa and also during the Korean War. He was a college lacrosse player while at Adelphi who was elected into the Adelphi University Hall of Fame, the Rochester Lacrosse Hall of Fame and was selected the USILA "Man of the Year" in 1966. He received his Bachelor's Degree from Adelphi University and his Master's Degree from Columbia University. Don is survived by his wife of 31 years, Sue Anne Stark Loughlin sons, Ted (Kerry) of Lititz PA and Tim (Susan) of Atlanta GA their mother, Patricia Quinn Loughlin of Penfield 4 grandchildren, Lindsey, Quinn, Dylan and Shannon.ĭon was born in Brooklyn NY on Decemto James and Isabel Black Loughlin. He was predeceased by his son, Peter and brothers, James, Ken and Ed. Donald Alexander Loughlin of Victor NY died on March 16, 2018. ![]()
